EXCEPTIONAL and very rare book profiling a private collection of early images of Morocco. Exquisitely printed and designed, with cream-colored pages in the rear, elegant typography, and superb reproductions of 166 rare images, most unpublished elsewhere - the strongest collection of early North African images I've seen. Every photo is marvelous - village and desert scenes, occupational images, portraits, architectural studies, and more. A beautiful book, one of the most impressive photo anthologies I've come across. My highest recommendation. Obscure. In excellent condition save for some bumping to tips.
