Although development of the iconic UH-1 Huey began in 1952, this versatile helicopter remains in service with the US military and allied nations even today. The aircraft, which became an icon of US involvement in the Vietnam War, was originally designated the HU-1, which begat the now-familiar Huey name. Originally conceived as a medical evacuation and utility helicopter for the Army, the type was adopted for use by all branches of the US military, and its roles evolved to include use as an aerial gunship as well firefighting duties.
This 80-page volume chronicles the use of 15 different versions of the Huey, not only in Vietnam, but also on through the current use of the versatile helicopter in global war on terror. 1) Postal charges go on weight, 'Not how many books are in one box etc' (and books are heavy) And it doesn't matter where in the world you are, France, USA, Australia etc. The prices are the same
2) If you didn't know All postal chargers around the World went up by around 30% in August 2020, due to Covid etc.
And Again 1st April 2021, August 2021 have gone up again 1st Jan 2022, and there isn't anything we can do about it, its all down to them. And are set to go up again April 2022
3) Due to Brexit, on 1st Jan 2021, Vat is going to be added to overseas postal services and export tax (even though books are Vat free here in the UK, this is going to change?)
4) After the 1st Jan, you will also have to pay a tax on receiving anything from the UK (Although We are hoping, by adding a customs for 'lowering the value of books sent', by saying they are worth £20? so you may get away with this?)
If I am honest, Covid and Brexit, are really 'Messing' things up over here (and the rest of the world to) So there maybe longer shipping delays, for overseas postings, due to Customs clearance etc
Hand on Heart, I am now thinking of removing all overseas services from my sales. This will hurt our book sales, but the hassel's it is looking like its going to be, it is just not worth selling overseas anymore? Although we shall wait and see?
So sorry, but right now, we can offer any discount, as due to the above, so please DO NOT ask, as our prices are fixed and have been calulated on Royal Mail International 'Signed For' posting
And before you ask, we will not send them anyother way (Not surface, or any other Postal Company etc)
And also, after ebay/paypal fees etc, it just isn't worth it on our part, we just end up losing out.
And we price our books up at a good price, so there is no more room for any discount
