Hello, thank you for taking a look at this Madrigal Proceed Component Video Processor (CVP2) in As-Is condition. This vintage electronics is untested beyond just applying an (included) compatible spec'd power supply and the "LED" turned to amber and there is no smoke smell. The device has been well cared for but never used or tested by me (ever), I don't have anything remotely in terms of things to test it with and don't know if it even works. I am selling this with the assumption that it doesn't work and is for parts. I have packed this item very well in recycled packaging materials and is ready to ship immediately.
Note: I have had some horrible
issues with "audiophiles" on eBay and hope this will be a great item for
you for parts, aesthetics with an AVP or just magically works perfectly
if needed. The item
being sold is As-Is and nothing more that than. The actual item is
pictured and includes a seemingly compatible power supply, RCA cable and
phone cord for linking to your AVP.
From the manufacturer: "The
CVP2 converts standard-definition (SDTV) NTSC- or PAL-formatted com
posite and S-Video signals to high quality component (YPbPr) or RGB
signals
(both sync on green and composite sync outputs are supported). The
result is
an interlaced component output (480/60i for NTSC; 525/50i for PAL) that
may
be deinterlaced by the Proceed PVP or by other video processors. The
CVP2
may also be used to perform transcoding (color space conversion) between
SMPTE level interlaced component (YPbPr) and interlaced RGsB (sync on
green) video"

Please no scammers or low ballers I'm a long time eBay veteran for like 25 years now since a little kid. I'm selling this merely to buy more cool stuff from eBay for myself and keep this out of Goodwill and i.e. the landfill.
