Great, Easy and Fast way to Keep up with your Childrens School Pictures. As an avid scrapbooker but mom of 3 I got discouraged having no time for traditional scrapbooking.
I LOVE this type of photo books for convenience and as a huge time-saver. I no longer feel guilty of not scrapbooking my children's school years from year to year once I started using these style easy-to-use books. Now, I still do traditional scrapbooking (when I make the time) but for quickly inserting a class photo or another special photos from the school year THIS IS YOUR TYPE BOOK!
You use photo splits and simply stick the picture in, fill in the 1 page info sheet on basic things about your child that year and -Boom - You're DONE! Easy-Peasy!
This book is a spiral bound, hardback book for K-8 years (Kindergarten through 8th grade) with a lively colorful front cover with a huge apple raised cover (see photos), with 9 see-through boxes on the cover for yearly wallet size photos to be inserted & shown on the cover, and inner pages that have simple fill in the blank basic things for you to fill out like Age, Year, Name of School, Mascot, Teacher(s), Friends, What I liked to eat for lunch, Favorite books, etc... and each page is a pocket page to hold a few extra papers like report cards or a sweet note from the teacher.
NOTE: In this book, there is NO designated place on the INSIDE of the book for a class photo or school photos BUT what I did with some of the books like this that I made for my children and for my friends children (since I'm photo crazy!!) is I would just cover the basic artwork on the page that says the grade with the photo or photos I chose and stuck them down with photo safe adhesive splits. Example on the page that says GRADE 1 at the bottom is a cute image of a student size chalk board and then also a glue bottle and a pair of scissors beside that. I would cover those areas with a photo that fit in that space because really who needs the book artwork of a chalkboard and glue and scissors? I'd rather have my child's photos from that year - And my books look great!! That would also be a great place to put your child's annual class photo if you have that or a picture from a field trip!
I love these books. In the past, anytime I'd find these books I'd buy them for my non-scrapbooking sisters, family, & friends. My children are now high school and older ages and I've found I just now have too many extras and not enough friends with the younger age children. Feel free to message if you have any questions.
