The Lancia Super Delta was a group A rally car that dominated the competition. To say the Lancia Delta had some success in rallying would be a bit of an understatement. The Delta had 46 victories overall and won the Constructors Championship a record 6 times in a row from 1987 to 1992. The Delta also won the Drivers championship for Juha Kankkunen in 1987 and 1991 and Miki Biasion in 1988 and 1989.
All this has made Lancia the most successful marque and the Delta the most successful car in the history of The WRC. Thats not a bad record to have for any car.
