The
lid is comprised of two pieces an outer rim with center insert of silver repoussé in high relief depicting a beautiful
water goddess or lovely lady with arms extended around rippling water girdled
in water lilies. The top insert is nonmagnetic,
tests as Sterling but may be plated, and appears to be signed on the left arm
of the maiden.
Approximate diameter of 2 7/8”
Estate fresh as shown with working clasp overall displays only minor signs of age and use having little to no impact on the presentation of this fabulous piece.
