~ Sterling Silver Desk Clock – Birmingham 1932 ~


A small silver desk clock with machine turned silver face and wood backing with stand.


Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, 1932.


The silver face has a circular aperture through which can be seen the dial.


The dial is actually a ladies wristwatch (without strap) which is housed inside.


The watch has a white face with black Roman numerals and two hands. 


The bezel and back of the watch are of mother-of-pearl.

~ Condition ~


The silver face is in good order with only light surface wear commensurate with age.


The clips on the back which hold the stand in place are a little loose but this is not an issue when the clock is stationary.


The watch is missing its glass and is currently not in working order.
