These are high quality reproductions of the famous script Sportster logo, OEM 61764-70, used on 1970 Sportsters. This design was released in the early 1970's. These decals are 13.5” long, the same as the original. Every effort has been made to ensure this decal is an exact of a replica of the original OEM decal, they were modeled after an original HD decal. You may have seen other reproduction decals on eBay, look carefully at these and an original OEM decal and you will see why these are the most accurate reproductions on eBay. They are printed on 3M Controltac Graphic Film IJ180Cv3 and laminated with 3M Scotchcal Luster Overlaminate 8519. These decals are highly solvent resistant and may be applied to the gas tank without clear coat, however, for longest life and best durability, clear coat is recommended.
