These are designed to fasten oil paintings or stretched canvases into frames with a shallow rabbet depth.
Zinc plated steel, these are the heavier gauge clips.

Please note: some size offset clips are now being shipped with the manufacturers mark stamped in the clip.  Down the road, all their hardware will have their trademark.
