The fifth part of a fantasy series about the youthful adventures of Thorgal, a stranger from the stars who lives among the Vikings of the North.

Mysteriously disappears the sage Hierulf, whom King Gandalf condemned to death, so that the old man would not report to the Althingi the truth about the slaughter carried out by the Viking ruler. During Gandalf's absence from the village, his cruel son Björn decides to torture a girl who is reluctant to him. Fortunately, Aaricia helps her friend escape, but as a result of a series of unfavorable events, she puts herself in great danger. Meanwhile, the teenage Thorgal, looking for Hierulf, ends up in the hut of a witch who has reasons to hate the lost sage. None of the heroes suspects that the next threat will come from the woman imprisoned by Gandalf in the stone tower ... 

The authors of the series "Thorgal. Youthful Years "are French screenwriter Yann Le Pennetier and Russian cartoonist Roman Surzhenko. In addition to this series, they also create another story from the Thorgal universe: "Thorgal - Louve", telling about the adventures of the daughter of a dark-haired Viking.
