"A Hindu Elephant" - one of the last manifestations of Polish late Art Deco style, preceding the birth of the New Look style in Polish design. Huge ceramic figurine designed by Zygmunt Buksowicz (1915 Warsaw - 1993 Katowice) for Steatyt Pottery Studio in the ‘50s.

A very good condition is present with the item. On the elephant's tusks and on its leg, there are faint traces of repair.
