This decal can be applied to finished headstock, sanded wood etc. These are not waterslide decals.  This decal can be Lacquered Over with a Nitro Cellulose Clear such as Spraymax 2. Or a Non-Cellulose Varnish  OR a clear such as Rustoleum Acrylic or Enamel clear. They will not melt or "run".
