The Chrome is pitted in places as expected, but still very solid. Shown in the photos.

The donor was a 1998 model and had a V5 and was in good order before dismantling. It and had done 35k miles and is seen in the last photo.
It may fit other models. I am happy to check part numbers for you if you are unsure.
