Mary Roberts Rinehart, from Pittsburgh, contributes a 2 pp. typed letter fondly reminiscing about the department store; other letters were sent in by Andrew Mellon, Charles Schwab, Howard Heinz, Rodman Wanamaker, Victor Herbert, Mrs. Richard B. Mellon and many other well known Pittsburghers. OCLC locates only two holdings: Heinz History Center and Pitt, both in Pittsburgh. One of the rarest items of Mary Roberts Rinehart to locate. Very good.
