large-format full-page January 1931 print ad for the Aetna Casualty & Surety
Company, with artwork by Charles Henry Forbell.
- Forbell was an early American cartoonist
and advertising artist, best known for his 1913 comic strip "Naughty Pete." He also
designed advertisements for Mr. Peanut and Campbell Soup, as well as Aetna.
- This ad measures a generous 14" x 11" and is titled "A Little
Schoolroom Quiz for Motorists!"
- There's a wall map of the United States with tiny stars locating the 25,000
coast-to-coast Aetna service representatives.
- Condition: This vintage ad is in excellent
condition, bright and clean, with no
marks, rips, or tears.
