Self Amalgamating Tape  10m x 19mm Roll

A large roll of rubber self amalgamating tape. This tape when wrapped tightly round a joint provides a complete waterproof and weatherproof seal. It is usually sold by us for making waterproof seals on outdoor antennas but has many other uses in and outside the house!

This tape is supplied on a 10m roll which is 19mm in width.

The method of use is to cut off a suitable length and peel back the plastic strip. This leaves the soft rubbery tape which is tightly wrapped round the items which have been joined. After a period of time the rubber tape bonds to itself and forms one thick rubber seal.

Typical uses of this tape are as follows:

• Sealing and waterproofing of the connections on outdoor CB & Amateur antennas
• Sealing and waterproofing of the F connector plug connections on LNB's for satellite use
• Sealing and waterproofing of the connections on outdoor aerials for TV use
• Sealing and waterproofing of external joins in coaxial cables
• Sealing and waterproofing of the external connections in Ham radio setups
• Sealing and waterproofing of joins in external low voltage wiring, eg outdoor lighting
• Minor plumbing repairs preventing leakage from joins in water pipes
• Useful for sealing wiring looms and bonding electrical cables together
• Sealing of pipes and cables in automotive repairs
