Scarce book collecting urban images from the 60's by East German photographer Dirk Alvermann. Dynamic work, reminiscent at times of Ed van der Elsken, showing street scenes primarily in East Germany, but also images of Poland, Tunisia, and Italy. Entirely comprised of full-bleed black and white photos, several displayed as diptychs. Excellent publication of rediscovered work by Alvermann. Highly recommended. In fine condition.
