Exceptional book of early photos of aviation in France, with images culled from the archives of the Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace. The images - nearly 100 of them - largely show events surrounding an early French airplane race, as well as silent films showing airplanes and beachhead launchings of new prototypes. The photos are simply wonderful - not merely historical documents, but artfully composed and full of spirit and life. Great book, most highly recommended. Very scarce. In excellent condition save for light rubbing and edgewear. I sold four of these till now - this is now the last copy.
