ABOUT BRAND : As a young man working on Savile Row during the 1960s, Jeremy Hackett became fascinated by the quintessential British attire of the early 20th century gentleman. By 1983, he had opened his first store selling second-hand clothes on the King’s Road, Chelsea. It also didn’t look like a second-hand store, but a very clean, beautiful gentleman’s boutique.  The time came when I couldn’t meet the demands of all of our customers, so I opened a store next door and manufactured new pieces that emulated the classic  designs.
