Arctic Wear combines winter fashion with comfort and unsurpassed quality. The Glacierider jacket has the tough 400 Denier tight weave Nylon outer shell and warm high density Dacron™ Polyester insulation to keep you toasty warm in sub-zero temps and wind chills. The Glacierider suits were coated to repel rain, wind, and snow. These jackets for women came in black, green, purple, and white. They were matched up with black bib top racepant snowpants in 1973. The white band in the 3 color arm bands has a reflective coating.

All seams are double-stitched and lock-stitched and are serged or taped to stop
stretch and drafts. All stress points are reinforced and bar tacked.
The Glacierider jacket has a full two-way front zipper that zips to the top of
the acrylic collar to form a turtle neck, or you can turn it down. There are 2
front pockets with snapped flaps. The collar and cuffs are a soft acrylic. This
jacket has the adjustable half belt with the famous Arctic Cat "Cat
Head" quick release buckle. Embroidered Arctic Cat Snowmobiles "Cat
Head" patch on the left chest/shoulder. The back is elasticized at the
waist for a tailored fit.
This jacket has never been worn. I purchased 2 of these, a 1973 and 1974 in
2009 from a dealer's old stock. Due to hanging for years in storage they were
very dusty. I gave them a quick, gentle cold water wash in a front load machine
with a diluted detergent solution just to clean them up. The only issue is the
white on the yoke is not as bright as original. Otherwise it would be Mint. The
original price tag has been put in a pocket.
This vintage Arctic Cat jacket is in unworn condition and is ready to wear snowmobiling, to your favorite vintage or classic snowmobile event or meet, snowmobile racing events or everyday to show off your Cat Pride.
