URS FISCHER X STELLA MCCARTNEY FALABELLA"ALL IS LOVE LIMITED SPECIAL EDITION"
ITEM NUMBER : 455139 W8219 1008

There seems to be a different artist and designer collab every day but not all have been able to steal my heart quite like the one Stella McCartney designed with Swiss artists Urs Fischer! McCartney designed the collection to celebrate inspiring women, the energy of the season, and the idea of “All Is Love,” with graphics by Fischer. And after the recent mass shootings and attacks, it is a message we all need to remember. I bought the silk points which I've been wearing non-stop along with the box bag and now think I need the matching shirt! It's a uniform Stella herself loves to wear and so comfortable not only for my daily life but for traveling!

“Stella's fashion to me is about dignity, love and a beautiful attitude to all challenges. All while feeling good and looking great and we wanted to reflect that in the concept of this collection” -Urs Fischer.

Artist Urs Fischer and photographer Harley Weir have come together to produce a bold new campaign for Stella McCartney. Shot amidst the man-made landscapes formed from the accumulation of discarded items on the Eastern Coast of Scotland, the new campaign stays true to the designer's commitment to sustainability and responsibility by exploring the issue of waste and over-consumption. Weir's images paired with Fischer's illustrations highlight the sense of awareness of Stella McCartney's ethos.

As a designer, Stella McCartney is committed to sustainability in fashion and is known for not using fur or leather in her collections. Instead, she uses recycled fabrics, for example. With her new campaign, the Brit is also setting an example for a more conscious approach to the environment: In cooperation with the artist Urs Fischer, photographer Harley Weir shot the campaign for the label's autumn/winter collection on a garbage dump in Scotland. A photo shows the campaign faces Birgit Kos, Iana Godnia and Huan Zhou in the middle of a large garbage dump, in one picture one of the models lies in a mountain of household waste. In another shot, a testimonial even poses on the roof of an old, rusted car. Stella McCartney posted this image on her Instagram account along with some other campaign photos. The commentary says: "A discarded car tears up the Scottish landscape and serves as a reminder to consider what we are leaving behind for future generations." Stella McCartney explained why she chose the unusual location on Instagram: "The idea behind the campaign is to show who we want to be and how we behave; our attitude and the journey together." The collection includes, among other things, coarse knit sweaters and androgynous suits. Urs Fischer said of the work of the 45-year-old: "For me, Stella's fashion is about dignity, love and a beautiful attitude towards challenges."
