It was important for me that he provided a detailed explanation of his expertise, so I could evaluate him as an author (where did he obtain his information and experiences from?). This is especially important when you have a topic like this, that is not presently scientifically accepted or proven.
If you are interested in UFOs, I believe you will find this book interesting and will feel that you learned more about this subject from Mr. Dennett's writing. There are experiences that help confirm what others have reported, and new experiences to me. I found that reading this book helped confirm some of my own experiences. I think it is also some of his better writing, and that he lets the stories tell the tales themselves. So yes, I think people interested in UFOs will find these stories engaging!

Another great read from Preston Dennett. Perhaps his most compelling with interviews that reach deep into the abduction experience. Every interviewee offers a heartfelt account of his or her experience that touches upon recurring themes as well as new and confounding evidence. It is one of those "can't put it down 'til I am finished" reads. I highly recommend this book for the seasoned legions of people with abiding interest in the topic and neophytes still learning to navigate their way through the fascinating topic. TROUBLING BUT FASCINATING ~
I love this book. Reading it was like slowing down as you drive past a car wreck: you're afraid you're going to see something horrifying but you can't look away. If you've ever wondered if you've been abducted or just want to know what it's like, this book answers some of your questions and raises a hundred more. I was going to read a few pages to see if I liked it but finished the whole thing in one sitting. (OK, lying on my bed with my cats and occasionally a lonely husband.)

DON'T MISS CHAPTER 10 :
I guess what I appreciate most about Preston Dennett’s Latest Onboard UFO Encounters is that he just tries to ‘tell the story’, without commentary, so that the reader may simply read these accounts on any level—from that of pure entertainment all the way up to wonder and even awe! When I came to Chapter 10, “Three Hours on Board a UFO”, I must say I was delighted! I have known Ron C.’s story now for many years, and he had never deviated in the recounting of this most incredible teenage encounter. Ron has graciously responded to my questions and yes, even my critique of his conclusions, always with grace and a loving and open spirit!
