This is an original hand colored double page map of Mattapoisett and Sippican, Mass from the 1879 Atlas of Plymouth County Mass. published by Geo. H. Walker & Co. Boston, 61 Hanover St. Boston Mass.

The reverse of the map shows insets of: Wareham, Agawam, North & South Carver and Bryantville.

A copy of the Frontis page from the 1879 Plymouth county Atlas will be included to authenticate the map.

The map shows streets, railways, homeowners and structures present at the time. Also noted are prominent buildings, houses of worship, manufacturing buildings, post offices, cemetaries, schools, bodies of water etc.

The map measures 28" x 17 1/2".

It is in fair condition for its age with some water staining - see photos.

Some of the bottom margin staining can be matted out.

The map will be shipped flat.
