Here is a lovely vintage Ecuadorian Art piece. I do not know much about the artwork nor the artist. My assessment is based only on what I can read on the back on the art. This is a 3 Dimensional type art piece, it is not painted on a flat canvass. I believe it's from Quito, Equador. Hand-painted, but I can't decipher the artist's signature. Beautiful vivid colors on a child dressed in traditional ethnic regional costume. Someone mentioned it might also be Colombian. I think it may be painted on ceramic or plaster or ? but I don't know the style, so it's only a guess. Regardless, it is stunningly beautiful.

Excellent condition, no cracks. There are a few very minor imperfections to point out: light wear on the wooden frame and 3 small / light mark in the mounted border around the art. On the actual art piece, on it's highest point surface, there is a slight wear mark (on the brim of the hat (since that sticks out and is the highest part of the painted sculpture).

Please see many detailed pictures to help you judge condition and style.

The size of the framed artwork is 13 by 15 inches.

This art is part of a 50 year collection that I am now offering up.  I will ship this safely and securely in transit.
