HiFi Valve Tube Preamplifier Class A Single-ended RCA/Balanced XLR Audio Preamp

Introduction
 
Inspired by a classic circuit, we have made some improvements, and developed this stereo balanced XLR/single-ended RCA PA-03MKII tube preamp. Adding it between sound source and amplifier can greatly improve the sound quality, much better than directly connecting DAC or CD player to the power amplifier.
Features
  • With 3 groups of stereo RCA and 1 group of XLR input, 2 groups of stereo RCA and 1 group of XLR output, it is compatible with most analog audio devices, and supports connecting 4 groups of audio source at the same time and switched via selection knob.
  • Adopting 4PCS vacuum tubes, the sound is soft and noise-resistant, warm and natural, the high-frequency is extended and the medium / low-frequency is mellow, the listening feeling is very quiet, suitable for long-time listening. The current 6N11 tubes can be replaced by E88CC, 6922, and 6DJ8.
  • A spacer is added between the circuit board and the transformer to prevent interference. The specially designed relay input selection circuit to avoid other groups of sound crosstalk to the current channel.
  • Output delay design prevents DC output shock to damage amplifier or speakers. Adopting two groups of high voltage use op amp servo + FET regulator, low temperature wave, high speed, much quieter background, better sound reproduction.
  • With treble and bass control, more delicate sound can be enjoyed. And a switch is designed to turn on/off the tone control, more convenient to enjoy original sound, with much fun and higher playability. The tone circuit is free from the common issue of bass and high-frequency harshness that can be grating on the ears.  
  • Unique design with attractive appearance, and high-end materials are used such as 100W Japan Z11 EI86 iron core transformer, stepping ALPS 27 WIMA potentiometer(built-in precision resistor), Nichicon and SONICAP capacitors, rhodium-plated RCA seat and so on.

Warm tips

2. The tube preamp is suitable for connecting to a pure power amplifier or an integrated amplifier. When connecting to an integrated amplifier, set the rear volume to two-thirds and then use the preamp to control the volume.

3. When not using the tone control function, please adjust the bass and treble knobs to the maximum position (turn clockwise to the end) to ensure the flattest frequency response curve.

4. The position of each tube is specific, before shipping we will test to make it in the best condition, so please don't insert it at random, otherwise its performance will be affected.
 
5. The filament only supports DC power input now, DC/AC power switch are cancelled and without any functions.
 
6.  The needle of VU meter can be stopped swinging, but the meter lamp cannot turned off.
