The book is in excellent condition with just a little bumping to the spine ends. Internally clean and bright. Free of inscriptions. Binding sound and square. The dustwrapper has some wear and chipping, and some fading to the spine (see pictures).  

A very nice example of this scarce book. 

Watt, Beckett's masterpiece, was originally published in a very small paperback edition by Olympia in 1953.  This is the first commercial hardback edition. The Olympia Press, owned by Maurice Girodias and based in Paris, published many books banned in Great Britain.
