This poster is often called "The Prince" because of the male figure with headress and elaborate collar (containing the lettering). MacLean's use of red, purple and gold also give the design a royal look. Definitely one of her best. And how about the bill? Steve Miller opens for Janis Joplin and her boys. 

  First printings of this poster had a gold background while the next printing used a silver background.
