Stunning period Art Deco bronze statue of a nude woman contestant in the Olympics or other sporting event featuring track and field as she holds both a spear / javelin and a discus.  The bronze has a fine original patina from both the casting and from age.  She is nicely cast, and her figure is that of an athlete perfectly rendered.  She is on a stepped round bronze plinth atop a triangular base that was made from a light green, translucent, and grainy stone that is polished and has bevelled top edges.  The triangular base is attached to a bronze framework with paw feet upon which the whole piece rests.  Excellent condition overall with no damage or repairs, chips or cracks.

About 9 5/8 inches to the top of her head, 10 5/8 inches to the top of the spear
About 4 1/2 inches from paw to paw of the triangular base
3 3/8 inches for each side of the stone
