I had these made to repair mine so thought I’d see if they were of any help to anyone else.

F80/82 seat badge vinyls, ideal for replacing old damaged ones or upgrading to the facelift black look.

They’ve taken quite a few attempts to get perfect but the results are great now with lots of feedback on M3 cutters.

You'll receive 3x vinyls so you have one to practice with, they are very easy to fit though.

Tips for install

1. Install them at night so you can use the illuminated M logo as a guide for the initial placement

2. Stick the center to the piece first and make sure it's well-adhere and then peel the front paper off being careful not to lift the lettering off the plastic piece.

3. With the edges now free-hanging and off the paper pull the top.and bottom to stretch the edges around the piece. Stretch them a little even if it seems unnecessary, this will make the next step easier.

4. You need to pull/stretch them while wrapping them around the plastic piece. Using heat can help. Stretching the edges properly to make sure all the corners are smooth and there are no creases in the decal is key to a clean looking result!
