The Nest Box

•          Handmade in the UK workshop from PEFC certified cedar wood, this bird box used provides you with a live camera view of the nesting chamber and the nest box entrance hole.

•         These cedar nest boxes do not require any preservative treatment as the natural oils within the wood will protect it against the weather conditions, but if you wish to paint the nesting box please use a water based solution.

•         The roof section fits neatly into a slot in the rear panel preventing rain from entering the nesting chamber, this is easily removed via two screws allowing access to the camera.

•          For ease of cleaning out at the end of the breeding season the complete front section of the nestbox can be removed.

•         A quick release mounting bracket holds the HD camera in the optimum position, this also allows for ease of camera transfer between other Gardenature camera nest boxes and viewcam feeder products if required.

Each box has a removable front centre panel with a pre-drilled 32mm entrance hole and includes hole reduction / protection plates 28 & 32mm, making it suitable for the widest range of garden birds:

•         The 3.0 megapixel nest cam features high tech processes like 'Starlight Imaging' and 'IR-Cut' filtering to deliver the best colour image in even the lowest light levels.

•         The nest box boasts a stunning high definition 2304×1296P colour video in 25FPS.

•         This high spec camera also has a built in light sensor that also serves to adjust the x10 infrared night vision LEDs to a graduating on/off, gently supplementing loss or gain of natural light levels with an invisible IR.

Optimisation

•         This camera has been specifically designed to fit into this bird box, therefore it is important to consider if installing this type of camera into your own nesting box (or enclosed habitat) it will deliver B&W images if there is not enough natural light.

•         The bird box colour camera has been primarily designed for use in the this bird box where it will produce HD colour images down to extremely low light levels.

•         The camera is optimised and pre-configured for the perfect setup of a nestbox.

•         You will need to decide where you want to place the WiFi camera (supports 2.4GHz connections) in your garden and then position the solar panel accordingly.

•         The solar panel is weatherproof in all conditions from -10°C - +60°C.
