Looks to be new.....Very nice, clean and in excellent condition, no visible chain red shades of  beads in the larger ones. I'm sorry but I don't know what the clasp is called. Will be shipped in a small jewelry box, made in the USA.  I do not know a lot about jewelry stone, beads, metal or what the necklace should be called, so I apologize for  not always getting it right, but all this jewelry is wearable and very good condition, I just wish I could wear all of Moms Jewelry... But there is to much..
