Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Electric Guitar Wood Library Custom24 McCarty Thickness Cerise #0340060

A limited production model of an original musical instrument store, completed with the great cooperation of PRS staff! !

The wonderful "Wood Library" is based on the "Gakkiten 45th Anniversary" model, which was made to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the founding of the musical instrument store. ” is limited sale.

For the body top, we have carefully selected materials with the finest wood grain from the vast stock at the PRS Wood Library, and adopted the finest flame maple that overwhelms the viewer. Depending on "Which side to use as the surface" and "Where to set the body line", the appearance of the heathered grain will change considerably when completed. Selected by our professional staff, it has the beauty of PRS that continues to fascinate guitarists along with the sound.

One-piece African mahogany is used for the body back material. The combination of maple top and mahogany back is a traditional spec that has been adopted for guitars of various brands since G's LP model. Considering the sound aspect, we specified the same size as McCarty with a body back specification that is about 4 mm thicker than the normal custom. By making the back material thicker, we have acquired a richer middle range and contributed to a fat sound.

For the neck material, which is finished in a pattern and thin shape, we chose carefully selected mahogany as well as the body back material.
African blackwood is used for the fingerboard and headstock. Dalbergia is a member of the same leguminous family as rosewood. It is native to Africa such as Tanzania and Mozambique, and is sometimes called Grenadilla.
The black part of the wood used in this guitar is the core of the tree, and the sapwood is yellowish white. It has very little circulation and is traded at a very high price. It is very strong after drying and has a wonderful tone, so it has long been used for woodwind instruments such as oboes, flutes, clarinets, and bagpipes, and has a tone that is closest to Brazilian rosewood. As a material, it is also used for the side/back material of high-end handcrafted acoustic guitars.

The inlay, which is one of the features of PRS, is also a special specification unique to Wood Library based on the commemorative model.
For the fingerboard inlay, select the Old School Bord Inaly, which uses paua shells that were used until 2010.
Normally, models other than the private stock line have Paul Reed Smith's signature inlay in the headstock, but for this order, we have specially adopted the modern eagle inlay made of the same material. I was.
Furthermore, on the regular line, the fingerboard and headstock are decorated with purfling, which is only used in limited edition models such as the 2015 PRS 30th Anniversary Model. By adopting purfling, it has a luxurious finish.

The pickup is equipped with 85/15, which was first used in the PRS 30th Anniversary Model and is highly evaluated and is also used in the current lineup Custom24.
This pickup, which has the year of its founding in 1985 and the 30th anniversary of 2015, is slightly different from the vintage tone pickups such as 57/08 and 59/09, aiming for a modern classic character. It is a pickup that has been developed and has a rich sound that has a wide range from high end to low end and a moderate punchy power feeling.
Gen III tremolo bridge, Phase III locking tuner, and the latest hardware at the moment are adopted, and we have specially accepted the gold hardware specification, which cannot be selected from the regular line due to cost issues.

Four colors are available: Cerise, Espresso, Laguna, and Tiger Eye.
All of them are colors that are only used in private stock, but we have specially adopted them. Also, like the latest model, the top coat after coloring is done with gloss lacquer, so it features a different texture and live sound than the previous model.

It is a special model that is produced on a regular line under the supervision of the private stock team, although it has the specifications of a private stock, such as luxurious wood and time-consuming inlays.
The attached hard case is a paisley hard case that comes with some special models such as Private Stock and Limited Model.

It will be a special one created by the long-standing relationship between the musical instrument store and Paul Reed Smith. It will be produced in limited numbers, so don't miss it! !
