This is an incredible 24mm lens. Recently I tested this lens against a 25/2.8 Zeiss Contax and a 25mm Zeiss Batis. The Batis wins on far outer edge sharpness, but surprisingly both the Contax and the Nikon were quite close. The magical look goes to the Contax, and the Nikon and Batis both have that kind of warm and even, but pleasant Japanese look... the  Contax coloration, like German lenses is much colder and exhibits in my mind more character. Both the Contax and Nikon were really sharp on a 40 plus mega pixel camera. The Nikon was very well corrected for distortion, which one might expect, and the Batis and Contax were about even with the Contax having less distortion. If you shoot Nikon this is a good one... the condition as I stated is really nice, like new... and you don't come by many anymore in this condition...
