The TH8 and TH8RS from Thrustmaster is a quality piece of kit but for myself and many others the throw of the shifter it too far. The knob sits too tall to make it feel like a realistic race, rally or drift car.

I have set out to design a short shift that can be used with the adapter I designed to help owners of the Logitech shifter get a more realistic experience.

Its now possible to get a great look and feel by shortening the throw and fitting a real gear knob. The knob pictured is a weighted aluminum knob that reminds me of the Type R gear knob.
