Hello and welcome to my sale of a Vintage Strand Theatre Light Patt 149 Scoop, Fully Working & PAT Tested.

The dimensions of this item are as follows;

Overall Height 19 inches

Diameter of light shade 18 inches

This Strand Theatre light is fully working as can be seen by the photos.

It is extremely bright. Please do not look directly into the light of purchased.

This will light up a whole room or larger room if required. Possibly even a large hall.

The item is in very good condition with some slight corrosion on the back area of the wire inlet. A few little dents or light scratches but nothing detrimental or damaging to the item or it’s functioning.

The bulb is included in the sale of the Light.

I have found a description and uses, specs etc of the light on a very old catalogue online.

The light is grey metal and white inside the shade.

I’ve had it professionally PAT tested and it passed first time.

To note. When the light is on;

A. It is very bright.

B. It gets very hot.

Obviously it is made for hanging up or securing to a ceiling or wall high up so would be out of reach. But please keep this mind if it is within reach.

This is obviously due the the brightness of the light however I’ve had it on for an hour and no issues or burning etc. It just gets hot.

I presume this item to be from the 1940’s to 1960’s.

A fantastic item for any collector of these Strand Theatre lights or for use in any area where light is needed. An apartment or funky restaurant, large loft area, a large halls, bars or at home in the room of choice etc etc.

Due to size this item is pick up only from VerdiAntiques in St Annes in Lancashire. However I do have a very reliable courier. All items are fully strapped and blanketed. Delivery is to ground floor only unless agreed otherwise beforehand, and help will be required to unload. Two men may be sent but this will incur an extra fee.
