In 1916 the Wahl Adding Machine Company acquired Keeran & Co, founded in 1913, producers of Eversharp mechanical pencils, and renamed was Wahl-Eversharp, producing both mechanical pencils and fountain pens. The company was acquired by Parker pens in 1957. Products for the UK market were originally produced in Toronto, Canada from 1922 but when this pencil was produced in 1936 the company was making the pencils in England, possibly sub-contracted to the Valentine pen Co.
