"The First JC/WIN Catalog" is a 48 page, 7"x9" softcover written by Kate Amend and Mary Ross Taylor, designed by Sheila Levrant de Bretteville, and published in 1981 by The Judy Chicago Word & Image Network (Houston, TX). "The purpose of JC/WIN is to make inexpensive art and literature available that affirms and empowers women." The book includes biographical sketches of eight women participating in the network (Judy Chicago, Sheila Levrant de Bretteville, Arlene Raven, Mary Beth Edelson, Suzanne Lacy, Faith Ringgold, Judy Baca and Faith Wilding), and descriptions and black-and-white images of various items they produced for sale (lithographs, posters, books, postcards, dolls, etc). An order form is laid in.

The book is in good condition, slightly bent at the top right corner. The back cover has an address label, stamps and a large cancellation mark, the front cover has residue from the seal that held the flaps closed, and there's some edge wear and fading. There are no internal marks.
