We have for sale a quality black and white photo of J541 sitting in the Geelong Locomotive Depot after taking on diesel at the diesel loco fuel point and servicing, at around 1530 in the afternoon on a Saturday in March 1972, J541 was one of several Saturday morning North Geelong Yard Shunters, unfortunately the other shunters were all diesel by this time, a year earlier there were up to six steam shunters working every Saturday until around 4 pm however, now J541 was the last steam shunter in Geelong, J541 had around a month of its VR working life left, also worth noting is the truck of lighting up wood next to J541 !!    the photo is a 6x4 glossy print, postcard size
