                  THE ADVANTAGE OF NEODYMIUM POT MAGNETS

Compared with single neodymium countersunk magnet, pot magnet has more advantages:

1. More Magnetic Strength with Small Size: the steel housing concentrates magnetic force on one side and increases the holding power dramatically. Making very small magnets much more powerful than any other magnet identical in size.  

2. Cost Saving: due to the super-strong magnetic force, it can use less rare earth magnet and reduce the magnet cost reducing the cost of the magnetic mirrors.

3. Durability: neodymium magnets are very brittle, easily corroded, steel covering protects them along with other coatings (chrome, copper, nickel, and 1 other) of metal on the neodymium surface these magnets give the most powerful hold available currently.

They are difficult to remove so please be careful when comparing them with different mount locations. Best way to test the hold on different locations is to put a piece of cloth like t=shirt material over the magnets then try on different locations and this way you can use the cloth to help relocate the magnets.

5. Neodymium pot magnets reach full strength when attached to 1/2” thick solid steel. The hold of these magnets is proportionate to the steel you attach them to.
