Fantastic catalog published for an exhibition on the French Art Deco and Modernist design of the Union des Artistes Modernes collective. Exceptionally well designed, with metal ring binding and transparent page guards, under which are showcased work in furniture, lighting, sculpture, and more - each item representing one of 27 designers in the UAM, including work by Robert Mallet-Stevens, Eileen Gray, Pierre Chareau, Le Corbusier, Charlotte Alix, Louis Sognot, Rene Herbst, and Rose Adler, among others. Numerous period photos of interior designs by the group are also featured, as well a biographic and bibliographic material on the designers. Very impressive publication, and very scarce with such a small limitation. In fine condition.
