Classically Elegant Tea & Coffee Service.PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL HANDPAINTED Gilded BRITISH TEA  SERVICE c 1880 - 1900. Most decorative 19th century Victorian/Edwardian fine china for your home. ( Possibly Limoges?) On a snow white ground are Gilded Garlands of leaves & Berries. Gold on a White Porcelain Ground  is simply beautiful in any room and goes with any decor. Both cups and saucers have a gently undulating exterior and a smooth interior. So rare, there is no online information or pictures. (Even the fine vintage china experts Replacements could not identify it.) There are a few numbers: 416 & 917 on a number of pieces, but the manufacturer remains a somewhat of a mystery.
There are 28 pieces in this beautiful tea/ coffee service. It is comprised of:

1   Teapot & Lid 5 1/4"H   7" Diameter
1   Larger Plate (Trivet like usage) with a         raised center 7 1/4" Diameter
1   Sugar Bowl 3" H   6" Diameter
1   Creamer 4" H
2.  8 1/2" Diameter Plates
6   Coffee Cups 2 1/4" H
10 Coffee & Tea Saucers 5 1/2" Diameter
6 Tea Cups 1 3/4" H

Condition is excellent, except a small chip at the end of the teapot spout. (Please sea picture.) No cracks or crazing. A few pieces have some fading of the gold. Two Coffee Cups have coffee stains on the bottom. Please should you have any questions, please contact me.
