"La Garde Imperiale Russe 1896-1914" is a 348 page, 9.25"x12" hardcover written by Patrick de Gmeline and Gerard Gorokhoff and published in 1986 by Charles-Lavauzelle (Paris). All text is in French. It's a look at the Imperial Guard of Russia in the decades prior to the First World War. There are many black-and-white illustrations.

The book is in very good condition. The dust jacket and black cloth boards are now protected by clear mylar; the jacket shows wear at the spine ends and the back top corner is bumped. The mylar has heavy "bubbling" giving it an odd appearance, but we're confident the jacket underneath is not affected. There are no internal marks, and the binding is firm.
