Text prepared by Dr. Allen Roy Defoe and illustrated by Charlotte Becker, copyright 1942.  This baby book was among my mother's things; obviously more than one baby book received as a gift and this one never used.  The cover I believe is moire taffeta. The illustrations are beautiful, sweet. and a joy to view. The box is split at the bottom right corner and stained as pictured. My mother was a saver. She was very particular about her possessions, brands purchased and preserving personal and family memories. I included a picture of the receipt for my birth that looks like it could have been a recent one.  It does not come with the book, but gives you a reality check.  We are liquidating some personal items and inventory and will not accept returns.
