RARE HISTORIC DOG BREED ART PRINT, All Breeds of Dogs, Series 5, Austria - Bildwerk, Kamerad Hund ("Our Friend the Dog") Austria Tobacco Premium Collectible Cards. One of 150 Total Cards in the Series, which were then pasted into a special album with text. Published in 1952, this print is GUARANTEED to be 65+ years old, authentic and original. MY prints have never been pasted into their albums, and are in pristine condition!!

This Auction for ONE print, is for the Breed: Retreivers (Golden & Curly Coated), Card Number C111. Condition: Excellent. Some of these cards have printing that is very slightly offset. NOTE: The printing on these cards is NOT the highest quality, on some of them, there are what I would call scratches, except they are on almost all of the prints, so that meant a scratch to the PLATES they were printed from, most visible horizontally across the loin of the Curly, and sometimes lightly across the forehead of the Golden! At any distance, these are not particularly noticeable!! Text in German on the back of each card.

This is an original print from the Third Series (each series was a group of 25 Cards) of Dogs published in Germany. Highly collectible and rarely found, the print is extremely rare, and the entire collection can rarely be found, selling for HUNDREDS of dollars, currently. The print for sale in this auction is printed on heavy clay coated white paper, with no border around the art image. The image is basically centered on each page, and the print size is 4.4" wide x 3.35" high on the white sheet.
