The Trident Military series includes a large number of high-quality finished models from the field of military vehicles and aircraft as printed and unprinted versions. The technology of vehicles and aircraft from the time of the First World War to the present day fascinates collectors and diorama builders alike. The series is constantly being expanded with new forms and printing variants.

The M915 is a tractor unit used for line haul missions by the United States Army. Designed for use on improved roads it does not have a driven front axle.

The M915 is the namesake and basis of a tactical truck series, although it is not tactical itself. It is a commercial type conventional 6x4 rear wheel drive 14-ton semi-tractor designed for use on improved roads. A powered front axle and other tactical equipment are not needed for this role, allowing a lighter and simpler truck. It shares the engine, transmission, cab, and some components of the other trucks in the series.[2] The more specialized trucks in the series are the M916 6x6 all wheel drive 14-Ton Light Equipment Transporter (LET) tractor with rear winch; M917 8x6 20-ton, 12 cubic yard Dump Truck; M918 6x6 22.5-ton, 1,500 gallon Bituminous Distributor; M919 8x6 22.5-ton, 8 cubic yard Concrete Mixer; and M920 8x6 20-ton Medium Equipment Transporter (MET) tractor with rear winch, all of which are employed in Engineer Combat Support and Construction units.

The M915 and follow on M915A1 were a Crane Carrier Company design based on CCC's Centaur commercial tractor, built under contract by AM General between 1978 and 1982. The 1990 -A2 upgrade was actually a completely different truck: a Freightliner Trucks design with a different engine and transmission, hood and cab. Older models were upgraded to -A4 standard with a new cab and frame that used the original truck's components. Starting in 2009 M915A3s were upgraded to the armored -A5 standard.

Trident, whose products are imported from Austria by Walthers, was founded in 1966. Their goal was to provide collectors with accurate replicas of prototype vehicles through the use of extensive research, photos and, when possible, original blueprints. Trident offers a wide variety of 1/87 model kits featuring plastic and white-metal parts, as well as a line of military decals.

RAILROAD360 allows multiple items to be combined into a single order for up to seven days to receive discounted shipping. Please purchase items and let us know when you are done shopping so we can send you one combined invoice. We can only combine shipping cost on items before they are paid for.
99% of our orders are shipped within 48 hrs of receiving your payment (Monday - Friday).
Any special shipping instructions need to be included in Paypal's Note area when making your payment. We get hundreds of Emails a day and it's hard to match all Emails to Payments.
Any re-shipping charges due to no one home to accept shipment or incorrect address will be re-shipped at the buyer's expense.

Ground shipping takes 1-7 working days depending on your location (please note delays can happen by the shipping company which is out of our control - weather, missing a connection, etc.)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
USPS Priority Mail takes 1-2 Weeks.
USPS First Class Mail takes 3-6 Weeks.
In some cases it has taken up to 8 weeks to deliver. Please do not use First Class Mail if you cannot wait that long.
Sorry, we have no control on items after they leave the USA (tracking, delays due to customs or any additional tax/charges applied by your country).

Payment

Payment in full is expected within 5 days of the closing of the auction. California buyers please add 9.50% sales tax. PayPal is our preferred method of payments. It is the quickest, easiest and most secure way to pay for your goods or services online. PayPal offers buyer and seller protection should there be a problem.

If you do not have a PayPal account, to get started and buy your first item with us is very easy. Simply click on the 'Buy It Now' button and follow the eBay checkout steps. Select PayPal as the payment method you then will be given the chance to enter your credit card details in to PayPal's secure checkout in order to pay for your order. Return

No returns on Auction Items. In the event that you would like to return your purchase of Buy-It-Now items, we allow returns that are processed within the defined return date (the return date is to be found in the return policy or shipping and handling section.)

Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return shipping address. We advise you to use a reputable carrier service when returning your goods and pack all returns appropriately. Buyers returning such items will be refunded ONLY for the item's cost less 20% restocking fee and not for the shipping.
