Stanisław Wyspiański (1869–1907) was a versatile artist: playwright, poet, painter, graphic artist, typographer, theater reformer, and interior designer. “Wyspiański. Drawing” is a mini-album presenting the artist's drawing works, which are a testimony to his extraordinary insight of observation. The illustrations collected in the book - historical caricatures, landscapes, plant studies, interior design, scenography and costume design - were made with pencil, crayon, charcoal, ink, as well as pastel. The foreword to the publication was written by Magdalena Laskowska, art historian, curator of the National Museum in Krakow, and curator of this year's exhibition "Wyspiański. Unknown".
