I am sending the Spiderplant rooted, to be potted as soon as they arrive and then watered lightly.

Cuttings may differ from those shown but will be of the highest quality.

Rooting your Cuttings - If you want longer roots

Start the rooting process in water. First, remove the bottom leaves on the cuttings and then stick them in a glass of water. Leave them for a week or so in sunlight and you'll begin to see little roots form. Once your cuttings have roots, you can put them in a container with standard potting soil.

Light

Your Spider plant requires bright, indirect light. If the light is too dim, the leaf colour will fade.

Water

Keep the soil moist, as it is best not to let your Spider plant become too dry. Water when the top inch of soil is dry and be sure to water the soil underneath the leaves. Don?t worry if you forget once in a while?it will occasionally tolerate a missed watering. Look out for drooping yellow leaves, they are a symptom of too much water.

Humidity

Your bathroom or kitchen would be a great choice for your Spider plant because it does best in a slightly more humid environment. Feel free to mist your plant frequently. If the humidity is too low the leaves will start to brown.

Temperature

Spider plant prefer average to warm temperatures of 55?80 degrees during the day and above 50 degrees at night.
