You are bidding on a vintage robe/nightie peignoir set. This set is new old stock with original hang tag possibly from the 1960’s?  Hang tag reads “This quality garment contains ROTOSET DU PONT NYLON.  It offers you all the tried and trusted abilities of this wonderful  fibre…excellent shape retention and appearance, strength and long life, lightweight comfort and easy care.  That’s ROTOSET DU PONT NYLON.”  Also included are care instructions.  The gown is marked small and measures approx. 23 1/2” pit to pit laid flat and 34” nape to hem. Robe measures approx. 21” pit to pit and 36” nape to hem. It has a sash which measures 51” across longest point.  There are slits in either side of the robe for sash/belt.  I have pictured tied in front or utilized with a back tie.  Rose appliqués, satin seam bindings and covered buttons add a touch of elegance.
