It is one of the largest scorpion species, growing up to 20 centimeters in length. Their bodies are brownish-black in color, with yellow legs and pincers. The Huge real Scorpion is venomous and uses its powerful pincers and venomous sting to catch prey and defend itself from predators. Despite their intimidating appearance, they are not aggressive towards humans and are primarily found in the wild. |

With each import, the legally required species protection test is carried out (with a dealer outside the European Union, e.g. Thailand, you have to arrange this species protection test yourself if you are checked by customs). We get most of our animals from a small breeding farm on the outskirts of Chiang Mai in Thailand. In this breeding operation, particular attention is paid to compliance with species protection regulations. Unfortunately, this is not the case everywhere. However, due to the very high fines for violations in Thailand itself and the necessary species protection test when importing to Germany, it has developed in such a way that violations have been occurring less and less for many years. Before we introduce our insects, we check them for species protection. Customs then takes over species protection in Germany. All our articles are presented and checked here.
