Heuer Easy Rider Jacky Ickx 1970 EB8420 Manual Winding Chronograph Men's Watch

Item Description

Heuer's Easy Rider was developed to offer a low-priced chronograph that would be attractive to younger buyers. This product is the first Easy Rider, launched in December 1971, with the name of its ambassador at the time, Formula 1 racer JACKY ICKX, printed on the dial. Heuer released several more models after that, but none of them were as commercially successful as Heuer had hoped, so there are only a few of them in existence, and they are very rare. The exterior has some minor scratches, but the case edges and the engraving on the caseback remain solid and in good condition. The belt is fitted with a urethane belt made by Tropic.
